There is a possibility that your ISP is blocking port 25. Providers like AOL block this to prevent outside users from relaying bulk email off their servers. You should contact your provider to see if port 25 is blocked.
Otherwise you have incorrectly entered details in your email client for the outgoing server (SMTP) for example make sure you are authenticating the outgoing mail server as described in other support database articles, or software on your machine like anti-virus, firewall, Norton, Symantec, etc is conflicting. If port 25 is blocked, you could try using port 587 instead.
For domains which are not in use with hosting accounts, login with the domain name and it's password and select 'Email Forwarding'. This feature allows you to forward any email address at your domain to any email address you choose, for example a hotmail or yahoo.com address. You can forward one address to up to three different addresses.
All your email settings can be controlled through your Control Panel. Simply log into your control panel and select 'Email Configuration'. From the next menu you should select 'Catch All Email forwarding'.
From here you can add a catch all address or delete an existing one.
Note - if you have any other mailboxes or forwarders setup they will all still accept mail for those respective addresses, 'everything else' will go to the catchall.
To setup Outlook Express to work with your Buduwebmail account please follow these instructions.
Start Outlook Express and select the Tools menu. From here select 'Accounts'
In the window that appears press the 'Add' button and then select 'Mail...'
Enter your name as you would like it to appear to people who receive emails from you. Then click 'Next'.
Enter the email address that you want to use and that you have setup with Buduweb. Then click 'Next'.
Now you need to enter your incoming and outgoing servers. For the incoming server you should enter mail.'yourdomain.com' – substituting your own domain name for yourdomain.com. For the outgoing mail server you should enter mail.'yourdomain.com' as before. Then click Next.
To finish you need to enter your username (which is your full email address) and password for your mail account. You can view your username and password in Buduweb. Once entered please click Next and then Finish.
To allow you to send mail through our mail server you now need to make a small change to the properties of the account. Select 'Properties' from the 'Accounts' window.
You need to click the tick-box that says 'My server requires authentication' or 'This server requires me to log on' and then click 'OK' and 'Close':
You can now send and receive emails!
/var/www-atmail/webmail-n/html/english/msg/login_mailautherror.html is not readable, please check file permission!
This error is usually caused by an inconsistency with the temporary files created by your web browser. Simply enter your web browser's options menu and follow the instructions to clear the cache/temporary internet files and cookies.
With Firefox: Tools -> Clear Private Data...
With Internet Explorer: Tools -> Delete Browsing History...
That usually resolve the problem, but if it doesn't, please raise a ticket to our support team so they can investigate this in further detail.

Mailboxes have a fixed size of 100MB and can not be increased.
This is because POP3 mailboxes are not designed to be a long term mail storage system but a temporary store until the user downloads email from the mailbox to their computer.
Mailboxes often become corrupted if they become too large.
In order to ensure a smooth service for all our customers, we recommend that you download your mail from the server regularly. Mailbox files which have not been checked for 100 days will be automatically deleted.
A popular POP3 compatible mail client to do this is Outlook Express. Alternatively, you could use our webmail service.
If you experience delays in sending emails this may not be caused by Buduweb at all. It is always worth checking first with the destination ISP to establish whether they are experiencing any problems. This is because we have several mail servers which constantly try to forward emails. If an email fails to reach its destination then the next server will then try to deliver it and so on. Normally a failed attempt to deliver is due to a problem with the destination server that you have sent mail to.
Spam volumes can change from day to day by quite a large amount. If you're suddenly seeing an increase in the amount of spam it's highly likely that it's just a general increase in the amount being sent by spammers.
You can increase the spam protection through your control panel and selecting 'Junk Mail Filters'
